Lauren Booth (Tony Blair's sister-in-law) has embraced Islam.
She announced it at the Global Peace & Unity event in London. Alhamdulillah!
Tony Blair’s sister-in-law converted to Islam after having a ‘holy experience’ in Iran. When she returned to Britain, she decided to convert immediately.
Before her awakening, she had been ‘sympathetic’ to Islam and has spent considerable time working in Palestine. ‘I was always impressed with the strength and comfort it gave,’ she said of the religion.
Booth, who works for the English language Iranian news channel Press TV, has frequently criticised her brother-in-law, accusing the former leader of being biased towards Israel and the United States in his role as Middle East peace envoy.
In August 2008 she travelled to Gaza by ship from Cyprus, along with 46 other activists, to highlight Israel’s blockade of the territory.
Broadcaster and journalist Lauren Booth, 43 – Cherie Blair’s half-sister – said she now wears a hijab has given up alcohol ... whenever she leaves her home, prays five times a day and visits her local mosque ‘when I can’.
Live at today's GPU event Oct 23rd 2010 she was a guest appearance, she came on stage dressed in loose clothing and with a hijab, after talking about her experiences in Iran and Palestine she declared: "My name is Lauren Booth, and I am a Muslim" which confirmed that she had in fact converted.
‘I always felt that the ummah [Muslim community] is a very loving, peaceful place and I am proud to be a member of it,’ she said. 
Miss Booth, also a journalist and human rights campaigner, has stopped eating pork, reads the Quran every day and has not ruled out wearing a burka in the future.

‘I also haven’t had a drink in 45 days, the longest period in 25 years,’ she said. ‘The strange thing is that since I decided to convert I haven’t wanted to touch alcohol, and I was someone who craved a glass of wine or two at the end of a day.’
She said she hoped her conversion would help
Mr Blair change his presumptions about Islam.
It's great that a leading figure in the media and relative of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, found her connection to Allah and chose to become Muslim. We wish Lauren Booth and her family the best and will make du`a (pray) for her future.
As for Tony Blair and his lookalikes,,
we say to them what Allah Swt says:
They intend to put out the Light of Allâh (i.e. the religion of Islâm, this Qur'ân, and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)) with their mouths. But Allâh will bring His Light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate (it).
